Dash has been passionate about acting since childhood, booking their first professional show at 11 years old. Dash won Best Actor at the Fringe Festival for their performance as Mudge in The Gathering Room. Dash went on to study voice and acting at New York University and graduated cum laude. Some of their favorite roles include Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors and Edward in Letters From A Lost Generation. Dash has been in several commercials including NYC LGBT Pride Organization's commercial for World Pride 2019 and brands such as Milli Money and T-Mobile. They are the star of the short film The Coronation, a rhinestone encrusted fable in which Dash’s character sneaks out from his parents’ home in New Jersey to see his drag queen friends in New York City. While there, he is encouraged to try drag for the first time and he is crowned queen for a night. The film features incredible drag queens including Rupaul’s Drag Race’s Yuhua Hamasaki. The Coronation premiered at Filmocracy Fest, where it won the Audience Award for Best Short Film, and went on to be screened at the 38th Miami Film Festival, Big Apple Film Festival (Winner of Best LGBTQ+ Short Film), QFLIX Worcester 2020, Kaleidoscope LGBTQ+ Festival, Wicked Queer, Nashville Film Festival, Vail Film Festival, Out on Film, Chelsea Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, Montclair Film Festival, and the Sonoma International Film Festival. Dash made brief features in Amazon Prime Video’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and the season finale of HBO Max’s reboot of Gossip Girl. Dash also plays a supporting role in the metaphysical sci-fi thriller Reflect. Reflect was featured in festivals including ChandlerFilm Festival, Boston SciFi Festival and Melbourne Science Fiction Festival. The feature film will be coming to a streaming service soon! Dash has also acted in audiobooks for Audible.com including stellar works like Letters From Camp (Seasons 2 & 3) by Jamie Lee Curtis, The Long Haul by Neal Stephenson and Ask Arizona by Lissa Rovetch. Dash’s most recent work for Audible was acting in Alison Bechdel’s DTWOF alongside acting powerhouses including the iconic Jane Lynch. Dash is currently signed with Don Buchwald & Associates for television, film, theatre, and commercials. They have had the extreme pleasure of studying with legends such as Bob Krakower, Laura Henry, Mary Irwin, Hannelore Story and Susan Misner. Dash is a versatile actor — naturally funny with a large emotional life.
